Novack Sees Bad Times for GOP in 2008

Robert Novack recently wrote a column in which he put forth the idea that 2008 could be as bad for the GOP as 2006. Usually, after a big win like the Dems had in 2006 in the U.S. House the party that won loses seats. This happened to the Republicans in 1996 and 1998 after they took over the House in 1994.

Novack, aka The Prince of Darkness, however, thinks that 2008 could prove different. He wrote that the Iraq War could prove even worse for the GOP in 2008 as it did in 2006. He also set forth a list of the Dems most in danger and the GOPers most in danger. What's interesting is that while Novack's list of endangered Dems doesn't include any from Ohio, the list of endangered Republicans include two Ohioans, Pryce and Schmidt. A radical right-wing pundit's nightmare is a nation's hope.

You can read the Novack article in the online version of Human Events, a conservative magazine, here or you can avoid the right-wing whack job site and read a summary here.
