Spreading Common Sense in Medina County
Repeat Item

On March 17th MCDAC held a meeting to establish two committees to oversee the publishing and distribution of Common Sense, Medina County's only Democratic newspaper. We can still use volunteers for both of these committees. If you would like to volunteer, please send an email to joycekimbler@medinacountydemocraticactioncommittee.org. The next date for a meeting of our two committees is April 14, 2007 from 10 am to noon at the Cloverlead Recreation Center.

Medina County Democratic Yard Sign Committee
Repeat Item

We are continuing to strengthen the Democratic Party in Medina County . Yard signs are a very important part of a candidate's efforts to get his/her name and message out to the voting public. Building on the success we achieved and the lessons we learned during the 2006 elections, we want to create a systematic approach to delivering candidate yard signs for every election. The process will include identifying priority locations by precinct, creating a group of volunteers who will assist candidates in identifying locations, putting together and delivering yard signs. We want to create an 'event' to deliver yard signs. The first meeting of the Yard Sign Committee will be held on Monday, April 16th at 7:00 PM at Panera's 4065 Pearl Road in Medina . We will use the meeting to begin to identify the priority sites within Medina County , outline volunteer opportunities and discuss how we will capture and maintain lists of individuals who are willing to post yard signs on their property. Come join the fun as we turn Medina County Blue!! Please contact Mary Ogden at mogden@ogdenpost.com for more information.
