Paul Wolfowitz Gets Girlfriend on at State Department Making More Money than Rice

Here is an interesting article posted on Huffington Post. Apparently Paul Wolfowitz either has or had a romantic relationship with a woman who works with the World Bank. He disclosed this to the governing board of that organization. It was pointed out that World Bank regulations prevent spouses or romantic partners from supervising each other. Wolfowitz then gets her posted to the State Department, although her salary is being paid by the World Bank. With recent pay raises she is now making more money than the Secretary of State. This has ticked off other World Bank employees who are protesting to the governing board. This guy Wolfowitz is a real piece of work.

Bloomberg Reports Wolfowitz Driving Away Managers at World Bank

Bloomberg News reported that managers of the World Bank are very concerned that Paul Wolfowitz, one of the geniuses who came up with idea of the Iraq War, is driving away experienced managers and replacing them with political allies. These political allies are connected to American action in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Once again the Bushies show that when it comes to government, what matters isn't competence but loyalty. Loyalty to Bush, to neo-con principles, loyalty to the cause. The Bushies trash every governmental agency or function they touch. One can only imagine the damage they will do to our country before they leave office.
